My cat just started vomitting today. It's very little and only watery but she vomits at least twice an hour. She is still walking around like normal and wants food (I took away her dry cat food today, thinking maybe its making her ill). No real listlessness or anything. She appears clear-eyed and still has her appetitite.

I'm calling the vet tomorrow. Anyone know what it can be?

She's been eating Friskies. Has anyone had problems with this brand?

when a cat is in respiratory distress, it can sound like they are trying to pass a hairball.
Check her temperature

It might be just a stubburn hairball, but better safe than sorry eh? I would take her to the vet.

It sounds like she has a hairball she can't get rid of. If you can, one thing you can try doing is allowing the cat to go outside and eat some grass. Cats often will seek out grass to chew on and swallow. It makes them throw up but it also wraps around the hairballs and is easier for cats to get rid of them.

Sounds like she is trying to pass a hairball. Try some laxatone or petromalt, given a couple times a day for 2 days, once a day for a few more days. Also get her some cat grass.

Cats lick their hair and get hairballs in their stomachs. They can't digest it and sometimes it wont go up or down.

I wish I could help.

A few drops of mineral oil if you believe it is swallowed hair.
