God is closer to you if you believe in God and remember and glofiy Him. He is not hiding from you. He can fit in your heart and mind if you become His. But our eyes are not capable of seeing Him. He will let you see Him if you keep Him in your heart. You have to live the way of life God has taught to live through His Divine Revelaions and His Messengers. His last Messenger is Mohammad and his last Divine Revelation sent to Mohammd is Quran. If you live by his way of life then On the Day of Judgment Angels will hand your Book of good deeds in your right with smile standing in front of you. Then you will know that you have been chosen for heaven. Then you will get to see God physically because on resuurrection day we all will get the undestructible body and the eyes that won't destroy when we will see God.
Remember Moses insisted to see God. When God appeared on a mountain near by that Mountain burned and Moses fell inconcios because our present mortal body is not made to survive looking at God. But as I said we will see God in our new body on the DAY OF JUDGMENT. See that you be good man of God and make yourself deserving to be in heaven and see God.
Believe me! in just believing Jesus that he gave his life for your sins you can go to heaven is not true. Jesus was a man and Prophet of God. No doubt a great Prophet, the most humble, and patient and loving. But still he was a man and not God or son of God. He is in heaven and not on earth. The God of Jesus is every where even now while you are reading this post he is near you waiting to see your reaction on reading this post.
May God guide you to the right path that leads to Him.
