Every day my Corgi eats about a cup of kibble, 2 T of peanut butter, 1/4 cup of yogurt and a couple of cubes of cheese that I put in her Kong. Everything but the kibble is of course low fat or fat free. Do you think this is suitable? She seems to be a very healthy...not overweight dog. Also, are there any fruits or veggies besides grapes and raisins that dogs can't have?

Duh me, I forgot to include that I know dogs can't have onions or garlic either! Haha.

You will want to think seriously about changing that dog food. Beneful is one of the worst things that you can feed your dog - even Nutro would be better than that.
Here's a site to check out better brands:

Garlic is fine for dogs in moderation. Don't overdo it - I split one clove between two dogs per day to repel fleas and ticks.

I feed my dogs All Natural Dog Food. However, once in awhile I will give them a treat of either a peeled steamed Sweet Potato (Yam) or peeled and steamed Carrots. I cut them into bite size pieces after they cool off then feed a small portion to each of my dogs...they love it, and it's very good for them.
I've heard pros and cons about peanut butter.
I'm just very picky about what they eat, but if your Vet says what you're doing is okay then it sounds like your dog has it made!

Make sure you don't give too much calcium. I know I cant help myself my dog lovvvees cheese! But everything needs to be in moderation.
I asked my vet about other fruits/vegies that my dog enjoys and she said they are all healthy;
Apples, bananas, broccoli, beans, potato, carrots.
If you just feed them their healthy kibble with additional veggies you cant go wrong! A lot ofowners give their dogs mince meat aswell, which can be very damaging internally due to high levels of protein, as it goes in combination with the healthy protein in their kibble.
But apparently you cant go wrong with heaps of vegies! Optimum and beneful are greta supermarket quality kibbles too.

thats a lot of PB for a corgi IMO. I agree Beneful is absolute garbage.
California Natural would be my choice. if you use the Canidae don't use the all life stages unless you are positive the dog is not allergic to any of the meats in it. use one of the others with one meat source

First of all what brand of kibble do you feed?? ugg BENEFUL. beneful is full of pure junk it has artifitial colors, flavors, and it also has SUGAR.disgusting ingrdients and not enough REAL meat. I think you can do better. Why not try some better food like Eagle Pack, Canidae,Innova Evo, or California Natural. I bet you've never heard of these brands but they are far better than beneful junk.
and a bit of garlic is fine but totally unnessacary.

No tomatos, or onions.
Scrap the Beneful, its very low quality, full of fillers, by-products and dyes.
Switch to a high quality food such as Canidae, Innova, or Wellness.

Everything sounds good unless you're feeding a low quality kibble.
Onions are toxic to dogs.
