Does this count? As a teenage girl I didn't want to cover up the outfits I worked so hard on with a coat when it was cold, but of course I was told to wear a coat outside in winter! Tsk, tsk! Then, while chaperoning some teenage girls at a campout for a group similar to Girl Guides, two of the young girls wanted to go out trolling for boys in some very brief outfits and it was very cold out. Guess what I said....!!!

They REFUSE to childproof their home.
No covered plug outlets. Chemicals down low, with no childproofing on cabinet doors.
No gates anywhere on the staircase.
Breakable valuables everywhere....they believe in shouting NO, every time she comes within 2 feet of anything....that means everything in the house.
The poor thing...when she was 1 year old, she just sat on the floor in the middle of the room and didn't move. She was screamed at whenever she made a move outside of her 2 foot circle. Sad.
My husband swears to never get a divorce. His dad was non-existent.
I swear to not to drink. My mother's alcoholism destroyed our family.

I always swore i'd never say "because I said so" to my kid. Well, I have a 4 yr old now, and i've said it to him many times. I catch myself doing so many things I thought I wouldn't, that somehow make sense now!

They spoke Bohemian when they didn't want me to know what they were talking about. I never have done that primarily because I can't speak Bohemian and my wife doesn't understand it. I swore I'd never do that, and I've kept my word.

I was raised by my grand parents and they tried to shelter me from EVERYTHING. According to them i couldnt have friends because they where devil worshipers or drug dealers.
It was just home school and church.
I wouldnt do that to my child it can ruin them yes she will be home schooled but not sheltered from the world. She will know every thing there is to know about drugs sex alcohol and all that.

I vowed, and have managed to keep that vow, that I would not have me. If my wife ever gets pregnant with me, and then the utlrasound verifies that it's really me in there, I'm leaving her. I know. It sounds harsh. I'll send her child support and all that, but I simply refuse to live in a house with me. My mom did it. She'll tell you. "You do not want to live in a house with that boy," she'll say, and I have to agree with her.
