look I am mormon...and I am going to hell...
I have a temple recommend and I STILL DRINK REGULAR COKE AND REGULAR MT DEW...
OOOHHHHH...I AM SO GOING TO HELL..
CAFFEINE MEANS NOTHING...
YOU CAN BE ADDICTED TO ANYTHING...
CAFFEINE IS NOT THE PROBLEM....GETTING ADDICTED TO A SUBSTANCE IS THE PROBLEM..IF YOU ARE ADDICTED TO ANYTHING...THEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM..
IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT CONTROLS YOUR LIFE TO THE POINT THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN UP YOUR OWN SELF WILL THEN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.
if YOU have a problem with caffeine...then YOU need to take care of that..CAFFEINE CAN cause addiction but it is on a case by case basis..it is NOT something that the Church has banned or disallowed people from entering the Temple.
That said, Alcohol, Tobacco and any illegal drugs are on that list (including HGH steroids) of substances that WILL keep you out of the Temple.
So yeah I drink any soft drink i want...I am such a sinner...

Yes - they drink Coke, Mountain Dew, Pepsi - any type of soda? Are you prejudice? Why don't you ask them. It's not a church or cultural thing. I had catholic, Mormon, Presbyterian and Lutheran friends that, their parents would not let them drink soda's at home or buy them soda's.
