I need some verses that relate to jealousy.
My idea is to put a bunch of nice things in a paper pag and a bunch of garbage in a nice gift wrapped box, then make the children chose which one they would prefer.

The lesson is to show that just because the outside is weathered and in expensive doesn't mean the there is nothing to offer inside. Also that just because the nice box had a pretty outside doesn't mean that it's not empty except for garbage.

We are experiencing a lot of issues with our girls bragging about their "things" and trying to make "poor" looking girls jealous.
What can I use to back this up from scripture.

1 Peter 2:1

Romans 1:29-32

Titus 3:3

James 3: 14 -17

1 Timothy 6:4

! Corinthians 13 (specifically v. 4)

Galatians 5:19-26

Romans 13:13

Some of these verses say the same thing but I would not eliminate the redundancy in order to show how important this issue is in God's eyes
