Why would you be searching for it???? If you connect to one of their sting sites you could be raided. If they find child porn on your computer...your busted.

I would highly doubt it. First of all, it is not a crime to search for child pornography. I do not know how the FBI would link internet searches to a computer at a certain address (but I will leave it up to the computer nerds to answer that question.) And if the FBI was going to go to all the homes that searched for that on their computer, I would imagine that the FBI would have to hire 250,000 agents to do nothing but go to people's homes that had searched the internet for child pornography.

If they plan to prosecute you for child pornography -- then yes.
If you just search for it -- unless you do it a lot, or get involved with some really bad production houses -- individuals rarely are worth the trouble of prosecuting just for the occasional viewing.

Thats kind of weird though. Its extremely sick but this also shows you how much freedom has gone down the toilet if its illegal to look at certain pictures even if you didn't take them and haven't actually hurt a child yourself.
