What type of wine goes well with lasagna? Preferrably something fairly inexpensive that I can find in any grocery store.

lasagna with tomato sauce - valpolicella, or chianti (italian red wines), or yellow tail shiraz. veggie lasagna in alfredo sauce - orvieto, or pinot grigio (italian white wines).

My first choice for all things italian and red sauc is Sangiovese and Chianti.

Pepi Sangiovese - $7.99 at bevo
Silverado Sangiovese - can't find a price but around $15
Luna SAngiovese - can't find price but i think around $18.

You could also go with an italian chianti like Ruffino Classico for $10.99.
