your home school diploma, when you earn it, may not be sufficient in the eyes of the Air Force. You will have to ask a recruiter to look up the program to see if it is accepted. If it is not, get back into high school, as the AF will not accept a GED either.

In the meantime: do not smoke, drink,do drugs or get pregnant/get somebody pregnant. in fact, don;t have sex at all, to keep you from getting an STD. Keep fit, join a community sport team and do some volunteer work.

There is no special mailing list or anything that lets the AF contact you when you are 18. If you are 17 and you are a senior and your home school program is accredited then you can contact an AF recruiter in your area and start the process of joining the AF. Right now it takes a long time because they are really not recruiting all that many people. However if your home school is not accredited they you will have to get your GED instead. Also you are going to have to have your parents permission for the time being and you will not be able to officially join till you are 18. Your next step is to talk to a recruiter, it is not how well you did in high school they could care less about your grade point average as long as you don't have a criminal record, do drugs, or are on probation you are fine. Good luck.

What could you do in the Air Force? You are obviously not studios, so how could you learn or contribute anything to the service or the nation. You need to stop wasting your time and put your mind to your studies. Maybe you can turn your attitude and yourself around in your remaining high school or study years, and then maybe the Air Force would be happy to have you..You would still have to a GED test to get a hight school diploma. Otherwise, you can figure on working at some common labor job for the rest of your life unless "you get with the program."

Just talk to an Air Force Recruiter and see what you'll need to do over the next few years to be ready to go when you turn 18 and graduate. The Recruiter will help you map it out, and give you great pointers on specific things you can do to increase your chances of the Air Force accepting you.
