I do not think that the word fault is correct in describing what God does. There is a reason for everything that God does and we are not always given the reason. I hope that with one lung your Grandmother is able to breathe well to lead a normal life and a long one.

Yes. He said to Moses
Ex 4:11 So the LORD said to him, "Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?"
And with regards to a blind man
¶ As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth.
2 His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
3 "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

It is no one's fault, sometimes these things just happen. BTW-god doesn't exist, so you can't blame it on the imaginary friend in the sky.

No. You can blame Adam and Eve for bringing sin, death, disease and destruction into the world.
