I have had the same problem. The thing is it that it takes time. 1 pound of fat will be lost after 3 hours of vigorous running, on a high level on a treadmill. I know it sucks. But for me, what helps is having lots of chocolate weight watchers bars at home. They have less than 100 calories in them. I try to keep alot of fresh fruit and veggies around too. it really helps when i am really craving something. There are some Popsicles at Fred Meyer that have 15 calories each! I luv them. If Everything doesn't work then there are some medicines you can take to lose weight. you can get them at Target stores. They are like 30 dollars for a bottle. And, THEY REALLY WORK! Try to get a personal fitness trainer or sign up for a really fun exercise class like...Pole Dancing or hip hop dancing. Good luck! Hope this helps!

You WILL loose weight if you burn more calories than you consume. The problem is, without exercise and a healthy diet, it's a given that you will consume more than you burn. If you eat empty calories (junk food, with no nutritional value) your body will constantly crave because it needs more to work with. When reading labels, stick with foods that contain less than 10 ingredients and make sure you can pronounce those ingredients. Try eating every 2 hours through out the day but make sure you don't eat more than 150 calories and nothing bigger than your fist at one time. Drink a bottle of water in between meals. You will be surprised how satisfied you are because your eating every time you turn around. As a result, your metabolism will increase because you are insuring your body that it will have fuel to burn and nutrients to work with, otherwise our bodies go into starvation mode where our metabolism lowers and our body stores in order to survive. Most Americans are overweight but malnourished. Try riding a bicycle for exercise but make sure your bike fits you or you won't stay on it. Bicycling is one of the best ways to loose weight and it's not hard on your joints. This is how I lost 30 pounds in just a few months. You may also want to check to make sure your hormone levels are OK. I promise you, the results will be worth your effort! Good Luck!

DIETING: Go to: h t t p : / / c h o o s e d i e t . b l o g s p o t . c o m (typing it this way bypasses the Yahoo! automated censors, but you should type it in the usual manner) and select one, possibly changing, later. Eat 6 - 8 small meals, daily, with a little protein in each, preceded 20 minutes earlier with a large glass of water: this speeds up weight loss. Snack on any amount of celery sticks, with the occasional carrot stick, and/or slices of cucumber, tomato, or raw onion, in any vinegar (a little salt & pepper/chilli powder is OK, but no oil, or sugar! Rinse your mouth with water, later, if using vinegar. Your body needs a small amount of oil, daily, to be healthy: about 2 teaspoonsful, if not getting it in the rest of your food intake already). Check out www.ediets.com Understand and accept that many people use food in an attempt to fill an emotional void, which is unhealthy, and never works. Others eat out of boredom, so have plenty of things to keep you occupied. A body cleanse is what will make you lose weight. It doesn't matter whether you spend the whole day at the gym running the treadmill. What your body has an excess of is candida yeast. This makes it extremely difficult to lose weight, and sometimes can give you food cravings. If you get rid of it you by cleansing you will lose weight effortlessly, and KEEP IT OFF.

If you are really attempting to lose weight, but it's not working, maybe you should have your thyroid levels checked. Low thyroid levels can slow down your metabolism and keep you from losing those extra pounds. The MD can treat this very easily with medication.

i can't really help you much, but promise to yourself that you won't resort to annorexia or bulimia. you can't lose weight without eating. for example: if you don't eat anything for three days(starving!) and you decide to eat two slices of toast with butter, your body will mistake that small amount of food for a huge amount. just don't eat many sugars. take your weight and multiply it by 13. that is how many calories you are supposed to eat in a day. subtract 500 from that and eat only that. (example: say you weigh 140. multiply that by 13 and you get 1820. subtract 500 and you get 1320. eat only 1320 pounds each day instead of 1820.). this simple process can help you lose a few pounds each week.

If you aren't losing any weight, you either are eating too much or not working out enough. Try strength training b/c muscle burns fat better and builds your metabolism. Try losing the breads and pasta. Try eating on smaller plates and only eating one plate full. Try taking your meat/pasta/ bread portions and just cutting off about 1/4 of it and giving it away or saving it for later. Eat slower, drink water, fewer sodas, etc.

Exercise and healthy eating. Exercise can be walking 20-30 minutes a day (and you can break it up). Exercise does not have to be all out.

Instead of focusing on having to lose weight, focus on being healthy, eating healthy, and visualize yourself at your ideal weight.

diet and exercise works for everyone. most likely you have not followed a properly designed diet or training program. most people do not make enough lifestyle changes to achieve the results that they desire. also the longer a person has been overweight the harder the body will fight to keep it's excess fat stores. it's not easy but it's definetly possible. i've seen 300 lb women competing in fitness competitions 2 years later.
