What did David do for Jonathan after he had been killed?

He was crippled ("lame"), haveing been injured in a fall while he and his nurse fled the battle where his father was killed. David took this man, who was now grown up, and gave him a place to live in his own palace like one of his own sons. He also provided Mephibosheth with all the income from the fields his Grandfather, King Saul, had owned when he died.
