There is something you are leaving out.Either your mom knows something about this woman you don't or your mom is just psychotic.
Maybe the something you are leaving out is something your mom has not told you.You might want to talk to her.

Maybe your mom saw your neighbor do something that she didn't like. Your mom may have just been in a bad mood though or having a bad day. Maybe she didn't want you asking someone to take you home without consulting with her first. You should definitely ask your mom why she thought this was inappropriate but ask in a nice way. Maybe your neighbor has been doing something that you don't know about.

You need to talk with your mother ( if you live with her) In a very calm and mature manner ask to talk at her convenience then say you are mystified as to why this is innapropriate and could she shed some light on it for you?
If you dont live with your mother and are an adult then forget about it

well it depends, was your mom able to give you a ride, and do you have a good relationship with your neighbors, it was not inapropiate, btu a little random in a rude way. sorry.

maybe your mum knows something about this woman that she doesn,t want you to know , you really need to speak to her and ask her why she feels this way , if she can,t tell you it maybe because your not ready to know yet ,tell your mum how you feel maybe you both can work this out ......
