Way too close to the truth if you ask me. We are the only species with the potential to wipe ourselves out.

unfortunately i very much agree with it. we have the technology to wipe out everyone except the roaches and that is really too bad. it's sad that problems can't be solved through discussion and words. weapons and wars should be the very last resort. not be the illusion of the last resort but really the first choice in disguise. thanx the decider.

Its author, who was alive through two world wars, saw firsthand the degree of advanced sophistication of weaponry between WWI and WWII. Always the mathemetician, he suggested--no, WARNED of the consequences at the rate the human race could produce deadly weapons of mass destruction.

My take? YOU are absolutely correct: It makes perfect sense!

Yes, I believe he's right

I believe he meant we will annihilate ourselves or at least most of us
and start all over again from nothing but sticks and stones
that's all that will be left

Hope Bush & Cheney have fun playing cave man

Maybe we will get it right next time
We sure didn't do it right this time

Kind of, I don't think a country would use nuclear weapons even as a last resort. If any country used nuclear weapons, the entire world wouddl crumble, and we all know it. It's more of a detterent that an actual weapon.

right now is a scary time on planet earth and we have the wrong people in charge, you wouldn't give the keys to your car to a 4 year old would you? that's what we have done to this country and this idiot is going to take us all into WWIII if he has his way.
