Chlorophylls reflect green and absorb blue more than red wavelengths. Chlorophyll a absorption peaks at at 450 & 700nm.

Phytochromes absorb red light (flowering plants use it to recognize time of flowering).
Cryptocrome absorbes blue light (helps seedlings recognize that there is enough like for photosynthesis or if they should grow taller.
