Less then half of what we started with a hundred years ago. At the current rate of consumption, it will all be gone during the lifetime of people now living.

This is true even if all areas now protected are exploited to the maximum.

In the mean time, U.S. Federal Government research into alternative sources of energy has ceased except for those under control of the oil monopolies. Coal is not an alternative energy.
