and was asking about why we thank GOD good things and when bad things happen we dont say ooh look what God did
OK i got alot of good answers but it prompts me to ask this q now, ALOT of you stated (and i do agree) that when bad thing happen God could be wanting us to learn to draw closer to him etc...
and many of you always say that we are suppossed to learn from our sufferings and etc.
what i want to know is what a child who is molested is suppose to ''learn'' from that???????alot of you are always quick to suggest that when one is suffering it was bought on by them selves....so im very interested to know about the molested child??

Bad things happen to good people. things just happen at times. Not everything happens for a reason however in the case of child molestation the reason is the perpetrator is sink and for lack of a better word evil and demented and chooses to hurt an innocent child.
The reality is that sometimes bad things can destroy a good person. there is not always good to come out of bad contrary to what Christians believe.

Its funny you go mentioning when an evil person commits a wrong against innocence now.
this has nothing to do with the grace of God. A believer is the one who should know how to use the grace of God. Evil people do not. They only care of themselves and could care less of the victim.
God has an adversary - satan. He will do what he can to destroy and distort all that God has done. You may ask why God allows this happen.
He created laws. If he disobeyed his own law, then He would not be a Holy God. But if His people prayed, obeyed His commandments, and feared Him with awe, this world would be much better place.
Many don't believe in God and want nothing to do with Him. Then people seek their own pleasure at the expense of others, including rape.
If the Christian church stood up and prayed corporately, I believe God would have no choice nut to intervene.

I was molested for a long time in my childhood. There was so much terrible pain and fear. I was hurt physically, mentally, sexually and spiritually. I decided to kill myself at age 18. I called a crisis line. They got me in touch with some Christians. These young people showed me something I'd never seen before - love and peace. They also showed me how to talk to God. I became a Christian on October 21, 1971. This one event saved my life and started me on the long road to recovery from my horrible past.
God never caused any of my suffering. People who did evil caused my pain.
God never chose this for my life to "teach" me something.
I have learned things along the way, I call them trophys from out of the fire. My desperate needs taught me to go to God, because no person had what I needed. Suffering taught me compassion. I was a careful Mom to protect my children. I'm sure I will learn more before I'm through.
I don't claim that my past is all over and I don't suffer. I have wounds/limits. I'm still in a healing process.
If your question comes out of your own experience I'm so sorry for your pain. If its someone close to you...there is help.
People have blamed me at times, criticised how long its taken me to heal and that hurts me so.
The ONE thing I want you to know: God never did anything but GOOD to/for me. I would have taken my life, I had a plan. Jesus intervened. No matter what my problems now, He is my God, my ALL.

Since no one can tell you how the child will respond or react or what impact the molestation may have on the child later in life, it is impossible to know what they may learn or what strength of character may be received. It is awful and I would probably murder anyone who touched my child, but in the long run every adult responds differently to a stimuli than another and the same holds true for children.

I dont believe that a child would learn anything from that!! I also dont believe that God wanted it to happen, Satan is powerfull also He causes bad things to happen and we should ask God to help when these things occur, in this case to heal this child of her hurt and pain!

Could it be to create a great character in the child? Could the parents learn to forgive the molester? Could the molester, if caught, learn about JESUS in prison and find salvation?
These are NOT easy question to answer. However, miracles can and do occur!!!
Salvation is available anywhere and everywhere. We need to see it, acknowledge it and then accept it.
GOD bless

Understand that there are "acts of God" and "acts of human beings". Human beings have free will. The action of human beings, in general, is *not* directed by God, and certainly child molestation fits into the "not God" category.

seem, you're nicely and rather an grownup. you have certainly no excuse for this style of habit. you have only have been given to get your self below administration. people often say that those with anger problems ought to circulate to an "anger administration" therapist. nicely, it would assist you to to try this. A therapist can instruct you techniques for controlling your self. yet a therapist can not instruct you which you're in charge for your self and your habit. you purely ought to handle your self. you assert which you already know you have harm him greater heavily, yet i don't think of you relatively do comprehend that. Hitting somebody with a sequence is rather risky. i'm shocked you probably did not kill or maim your brother for existence. You had greater beneficial desire you have not given him any inner injuries. you're relatively fortunate which you at the instant are not in the back of bars in the present day. And that your loved ones continues to be speaking to you. all of us get offended sometimes. all of us experience annoyed via relatives. yet we can not circulate around beating people up. I repeat: you're 25 years previous and you need to not be stepping into arguments that get uncontrolled. If a controversy isn't likely your way, you need to verify to step back. leave the room. call your community YMCA or surgeon and ask approximately anger administration help. additionally circulate out. once you're beating people up, you need to not be living in the kinfolk homestead. it rather is time so which you will get your guy or woman place, whether you are able to purely discover the money for a room in somebody's homestead. you have been given a 2nd probability. you at the instant are not in the back of bars or attending your brother's funeral. Be grateful and don't waste this 2nd probability. start up taking accountability for your self via getting your anger below administration and shifting out to be an self sustaining grownup. good success.

well, if my daughter was molested, i would not think God was trying to teach me anything. she was molested because this world is horrible. people are depraved. (not deprived) right now, satan is the prince of this world and it will always be like this until Jesus returns. good question, though.

Let's assume for sake of argument that earth is not the only planet that God has ever created. Certainly, we are not the only time God has ever thought of using His creative powers through the eons of time.
Now let us also assume that of all those planets that were created, one of those planets fell into sin. Let's call that planet Earth. God in His wisdom does not want sin to spread to the entire universe, so He quarantees sin on planet earth as a lessonbook for the entire universe as to the malignant nature of sin and its destructive results. God then sends His Son to die to save this sinful planet and to showcase His love to everyone. Sin is allowed to spread and enough suffering is allowed to show the entire universe the effects of sin. Remember, they have never sinned and do not know good from evil, the same way Adam and Eve were in their innocence in the Garden of Eden.
It is not enough for us to learn the true nature of sin. The battle between Good and Evil, between God and Satan involves the entire universe. I know this does not explain all the suffering, but it helps to understand some of it.
