molestation. Okay, my little sister(16) was touched, while she said No. He forced his hands down her pants, and she said No, and he continued and kept pushing him away. Basically, she ended up going to the cops with my parents. They took both of their statements, the detective had told her they don't have a case, becuase she had kissed him on the cheek when she left(she only did it because he gave her this kinda threatening look, like, act normal and don't say anything). Now. to the actual question. I had confronted him via IM. smart me saved the IM. Where he admits, but not in the direct words that he had done it. Basically, I want to know since my sister said she doesnt want to pursue because they had told her "the court would not see your way", if my IM could help? Also, me being the over protective sister, i threatened him, like i'd break his hands if he ever came near her. If i got her to show the conversation. can I also get into trouble for the threat?

sorry, I forgot to say his age, he's 18..

and this was the IM he had sent kinda saying he had.

Him-(09:03:54 pm): she said no but she still let me

I know my sister, she would have never lied or been so upset about saying no then allowing it. I also know the guy and it sounds just like how he is.

DR DREW - totally uncalled for. It happened days ago. the detective just called her and told her. and who are you to judge my family, not knowing anything. I'm over aggressive becuase it's my little sister . and she's passive because she's scared. So don't pass judgement on stuff you don't know. I'm sure if you had a little sister or a daughter you'd be the exact same.

There's what happened -- and what can be proved -- and while the IM helps, it may not be enough.

The decision is not up to the police -- they just take the report -- the decision is up to the district attorney (prosecutor) -- that office determines if the case can or should go forward.

I am from New Jersey,as well n I do not know what city u live in but something is wrong with this picture in other words the detectives r not doing there job ok,n I do not blame u for threatening him I know I would if that were my little sister.
Here is what u can so first off save that (IM) u have do not loose it take it and ur sister n ur mother to the county prosecutors office n if they do not do anything take it or send copies to the top cop in the state the New Jersey Attorney Generals office in Trenton.
How in the world do these detectives no the court or judge would not see it ur way so they have insight in the judge's mind or his way of thinking I do not think so,
Pursue it n let me know how it works out for u it he did this once to ur sister who is to say he has not done this to some other minor and for that detective to say u do not have a case I find very hard to believe u may have just run into a lazy cop who doesn't want to get off his lazy behind n check into it don't give up until u have pursued every avenue to nail this dirt bag.

I am sure this is not the first time your sister has been touched against her will. Your attitude concerns me too.

What is going on in your family to turn out such a passive girl and such a overtly aggressive one?

Maybe you should worry about getting counseling help inside your family instead of relying on the police for what is certain to be a lifelong series of incidents.

Im sure if you got a lawyer to look at the case they would tell you if you have a case or not. As for Jacka$$, if he lives anywhere near me. Give me a address and I'll fix his a$$. Good luck

you do not have a case. your sister's kissing the guy left made her lose all credibility. he is innocent until proven guilty and there is not enough evidence to prove otherwise.

sorry about your sister too no girl deserves that

You really need to file a report with your local police instead of seeking advice on Y/A
