This is my first card and Iam a little confused and have a question
I just got my card a few days ago since then i have spent $5.60 and my limit on my card is $500.

Well tonight i went to the store went to put gas on my cc just $8 and it was declined. So I just came home got online ans my account says this-
Total Credit Line $500.00
Total Current Balance* $5.60
Total Available Credit** $0.00

So what does this mean? why was it declined? could it just have been a malfunction in the card machine? or what is it?

You must have activated your card properly or you would not have been able to spend the $5.60. I would call your cc company. Problem seems to be with them.

Call the number on the back of your card, they could tell you what happend.
Sometimes the information is not correct or up to date on the web.
Make sure you make your payments on time. Don't over do it with the charges. I got a charge I didn't make last month. They looked in to the company and found out that the company didn't exsist. So they credited my account. Always monitor your account and that way you can catch those fraudulent charges and report them asap.

Have you or an authorized buyer spent any additional funds? Sometimes when the total credit available states $0 it is b/c there is still an authorization waiting to come through. I would still call customer service though and see if they can see anything pending on your card.

It looks like you should have $494 to spend. I think you should call them and ask.
