For a President of the USA, would you prefer (vote for) an atheist with a well-rounded plan for economic recovery as well as ending the Iraq war, or would you vote for another Christian without a clue?

i didn't vote for the first christian w/o a clue.
I think I;d pick the atheist...religion has no place in our government.
Bash me if you like, but the truth is once religion gets its hands on the government, the government works for the church and advances the ideas of the church, not the people who elected the government.

I would be happy to vote for the atheist. Of course I am an atheist, so thats a given. I do think it would be impossible for an atheist to win given the current climate in this country. Just look at some of the answers above me! By the way I RUN from voting for anyone that thinks God speaks directly to him or her.

If the "Christian" without a Clue DID NOT KNOW How to Listen to GOD Almighty, to Find Out HOW to Run the Country (obviously he,she did not know how)
I wouldn't Vote for'm.
I Want somebody in there that can Discern
"What GOD Said".

I would vote for the Athiest and hope he didn't get secret messages from Darwin or speak to Darwin in his office, but I would prefer to vote for a Christian with those same good economic plans and foreign policies.

Um...just b/c someone would be a good President doesn't mean they can't be Christian. I'm guessing you are meaning the republican vs. the democrats. I'm a democrat and I'm Christian, because I believe in saving our planet and improving education.

I think God should be in all things, so NO. I would not vote for the atheist, I will vote for another Christian, or someone who believes in God.
