Next time you're havng that nice big steak , do you really think that the cow is now going to enjoy real ilving ?
Yeah, I know, People have "souls " , cows don't . That's equal to that stinky stuff that comes out of the back-side of the bull .
There is absolutely no - - NO evidence that we have any more souls than anything else . We're all just part of nature. If you or I have a "soul " , then so does a bed bug or a giraffe .
This idea of a beautiful "heaven" is great , but it's a very poorly written fairy tale. There are far too many impossibilities.
The superstitious imagination makes for a certain amount of entertainment , but too many can't separate day-dream from reality .

This reality - this world we live in, is very important.
What happens after death, is less important. There is no heaven as such - and all promises by all religions are null and void.

The only thing we can agree on - is that we really don't know.
That is the honest answer.

To say - Oh, I know what happens - there is judgement day, pearly gates, God greeting you, etc etc --- is all rubbish.
It is someone believing the rubbish they are told...

There is the matter of near death experiences, and out of body experiences (astral travel) etc etc --- but it is very hard to know they are genuine and accurately recorded? What you do have, is 100s of cases - rare - but happening often enough, to know that people are having weird out of body experiences, which seems to indicate that consciousness can leave the body.

I like to believe that. It gives you something to look forward to after life if you don't believe in a god. I don't believe in a god so I like to believe that real "living" starts after death.

If LIFE didn't have meaning, then we wouldn't have it.

Amos 5:18 Woe to you who long for the day of the LORD! Why do you long for the day of the LORD? That day will be darkness, not light.

try and follow this..... and the devil promissed he could deliver onto humanity eternal life... but the laws of nature proved to be to secure... so when people challenged him because people were dying.. he said that's not what i meant... I mean there is eternal life after that... and in 2000 years he's yet to be able to prove that one too.... so when will the human race be willing to admit they were duped, and stop catering to the devil's religions that keep giving him power over our lives.
