Most people are unaware of what the bible really says about faith. The true defintion of faith according to Hebrews 11:1 involves; assured expectation, evident demonstrations of realities, in other words God wants us to demand reasons and evidence for out faith. It is not blind credulity. Lazy emotionalism is a poor excuse for true faith. The word is thrown about irresponsibly these days. Faith involves reason.
Creation is one way to reason with your brother. Whether one accepts evolution or creation both ideas end up with the same mind blowing eventuality- something or someone just had to always exist. You can only keep going...and what came before organic soup.. and where did the Big Bang come from... and so on for so long. Somewhere it has to end.
So when we look at the complexities of this universe, this planet and our own bodies what makes more sense -a random act of a microscopic non-entity or a super powerful master scientist/creator? Einstein said "Nothing comes from nothing"
Also, why do we have concepts of morality if we evolved? Animals don't murder, they kill for food or territory. Why do we have complex systems of laws and penal codes if we evolved from a "survival of the fittest" mentality. Our societies are geared, hypothetically, around protection of the weak and vulnerable. Where did we get concepts of right and wrong from? They are not helping our survival at all. We are the only species destroying the planet. Can we truly believe we are "progressing"
But the Bible is also a strong proof of the existence of God. One line of evidence is the bible's scientific accuracy thousands of years in advance of mainstream science. For instance, Isaiah 40:22 where the earth is described as a circle. The original hebrew word "chugh" used here refers to a sphere. How could the writer know this when the scientific view of his day and for many milleniums was that the earth was flat held on the backs of 4 elephants standing on the back of a giant sea turtle? While the greek scholar, Pythagoras felt the world was round over 300 yars later and some Norwegian textbooks taught this concept in 1250 CE,
these were rare and so not accepted that we know the situation only 500 years ago when a certain Colombus set sail. They feared for their lives because the world was flat.
Where did Isaiah get this correct knowledge from? Or Job even 1,000 years earlier than Isaiah, at Job 26:7 "hanging the earth upon nothing" How did he even conceive of such an idea as an unsupported globe suspended in mid-air.
I could go on and on with the evidence but I hope this helps for now.

Some things in this world are just to beautiful for me to believe millions of species evolved from a single-celled organism in the hottest of molten lava. Or that a chemical reaction created the universe.
I was watching a show today on a Panda baby and it was just so adorable, something as beautiful as that has to come from the mind of a truly loving being.
Sadly there is nothing that is hard evidence, but the more I study biology and the world around me the more I am convinced we were created by God.

this is an age previous query that we would or would in no way comprehend even after dying we would in no way comprehend. in accordance to technological wisdom, and Athiests, He does no longer exist. in accordance to religious types and individuals with faith, He does exist. in accordance to Agnostics, He would or will possibly no longer exist. yet now back to the beginning up, if He does exist, maybe at some point he will instruct himself or permit Himself wide-unfold to the folk, or interior the Afterlife, using fact the Doctrine states, while you're sturdy then you would be allowed in Heaven whilst God lives. in spite of the reality that it is likewise conceivable that there is probably no longer an Afterlife yet He nonetheless does exist for us to in no way comprehend in any respect. Then there is likewise the perception that He does under no circumstances exist nor does Heaven exist, this is the Athiest perception of what God is. For myself for my section, i do no longer think of i've got faith in Heaven, as much as i'd truthfully decide for to, there is in simple terms no longer something in my techniques which will permit me have faith that Heaven exists and there are Angels with white gowns and peace for all something of your submit life on the earth time. in spite of the reality that, I do have faith there's a God, no longer the God this is in pictures with the white gown, long beard, halo, and each little thing else, yet some type of better entity that we don't comprehend approximately and would in no way comprehend approximately, yet i've got faith there ought to be something accessible this is extra effectual than something, some entity that rather in all different words is...God.

Honestly the existence of God is a highly debatable subject and science is slowly proving things that were once thought to be the work of God. Most things that you could use as evidence for the existence of a god are the unexplained.

There is no good, solid evidence. It's all based on faith and speculation. That's why its hard to convince an atheist that god exists.
Do you really think he could convince you that he DOESN'T exist? It's the same for him. The whole argument is pointless. Just agree to disagree already.

If you have to ask this question, then you already know the answer:
There's no evidence. None whatsoever.
I'd say "sorry," but there's no need to express condolences over a simple fact.
And by the way: "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still." (German proverb)

Because something had to create nothing otherwise nothing wouldn't create something. Forget it, there is no point in trying to convince those who wish not to listen. The only real reason people believe in God is because they are scared of not existing after death.

There is insufficient empirical evidence to support the hypothesis of a god or gods. Therefore, there is no GOOD evidence god exists.

Well first of all, how did we all get here? The evolution thoery is kind of whack if you tihnk about it.....I mean, I'd like to see him try to get something out of nothing! The world could not have just formed over the years out of nothing!! Where did the matter come from?
If you took a watch apart, and put all of the different pieces in a ziploc bag, and shook the heck out of it, would the watch ever come together on its own and start working? Doubt it. Well, DNA for humans and animals is like 10,000,000x more complicated than the parts to the watch, so how could they be formed simply from chance?
Hope this makes sense!

Maybe you should listen to your brother. He may end up convincing you instead.
And the bible isn't proof of anything other than the fact that a huge number of people will believe just about anything.
