Uhhhhhh how old are u? if ur a little kid than its perfectly fine. I know i had a crush on some cartoon characters when i was little. If you are a teen or an adult than thats kinda weird to me. But u know its all your mind. Some people are just that way. If u are attracted to a avatar than u just are and that is something u can't change. U were made to be lyk that so u r. Don't let anything get to u. I know u may get some rough answers but dont bother about them. They are just giving their own opinion and not really thinking of it from ur point. As you know ,an avatar is a representation of a person on Yahoo answers.It does not have to be true, accurate,or even real.Hence it would be weird to have a crush on one.However, if the avatar meets with your expectation it is possible to begin to see it as human.Once that happens, it is easy to see how you can have a crush on it. since some avatars are really beautiful works of the imagination and art and soul and heart.Start to appreciate it as works of art and nothing more.

I don't think it's that unusual. . .my friends and I had a (albeit drunken) discussion about having crushes on cartoon characters when we were younger. I don't think an avatar is all that different.
Besides, how else can you explain all of the Japanese anime porn?

I once recall someone saying why they loved to hide in their paintings. They told me it "stays the same, doesn't lie, and doesn't cheat".
Maybe you're just in love with the idea of the avatar always smiling at you.

Well....they make avatars look pretty hot, but I don't think you should because avatars aren't real people and you've got to connect yourself to reality.

I everyone has a crush on something from boyfriend to girlfriend. My sister who is 17 has a crush on care bears and wants them everytime we go the store. she must buy one that she doens't have. Me is the same thing but with tweety and smilie face things.
