When I'm with a woman, I keep my hands to myself (unless she makes it pretty clear that she would prefer that I do otherwise). Some people touch a lot more than others, depends on how you were brought up, where you're from etc. If he wan't trying to grope you, I wouldn't make a big deal about it.

Some guys are just the touchy-feely type. like some people use two hands to shake a persons hand.
In different cultures they kiss on both cheeks to say hi and bye some people are just really friendly =)
if it was just a quick pat or w/e i wouldn't advise you to think much about it!

Unwanted touching is not acceptable--it is annoying--it is assuming that it is OK--and it shows a lack of respect. While you may not say anything about it--you can pretty much tell that the guy is too forward and at all courteous....not a person you would want to date.
