Plane or boat, it's impossible to drive and too far to swim.

Well google Canada immigration (I can never remember that website) and find out. But I don't think aunts qualify as sponsorable family. Parents but not aunts, so her children could sponsor her but not you.

Are you sure that plopping her into an alien culture and climate is really a good idea? It might be better to send her a bit of money to help with her support each month.

She can come on the POINT system. What you do is, give some type of exam at the embassy if you get 80% they will let you come to Canada to study further more.

As for the 3rd point you asked, it is very impossible to bring her at this point.

There is a program for sponsored relatives.

You would have to agree to be financially responsible for her for ten years. If she goes on to welfare, the government will come after you as the sponsor for whatever welfare they give her.

Make sure you are fully prepared to support her (unless she can work), and good luck to you!

Just what Canada needs: another immigrant who can't read/write English/French, and will not be able to support herself, and will end up on welfare or soc sec in a few years, having paid NOTHING into the system...
