It can be bland. They have to be careful to be theologically correct,which it difficult to do and still write lyrics from direct inspiration. I always thought major label artists like Roger McGuin of the Byrds or the Doobie Brothers were better at Christian theme rock than anything I've heard on a specifically Christian label.

I Like what I Like---what ever it is!
I Like all kinds of Music.

When I wasn't Saved and In the World, I was in a Band that Played "Southern Rock".
Lynard S., Charlie D. so on.

When I got Saved---GOD Started giving me some Songs! All I had to do was Write them down. Didn't take long Either. Sometimes HE would give me a Song in a Strange Place (like eating at Cafe!).
Then, GOD Helps me Write Songs too.

Really don't know how to Classify Them, but they are Really Good.

You'll have to Wait till they Come On The Scene. (GOD didn't give'm to me for Nuthing!)

Dit====================to!

There is music out there for everyone, dear one. I don't much care for it, but Christian Rock appeals to many young Christians and it's fine. Why do people like violent hiphop?

God bless!

If you don't like the lyrics or the message conveyed by ANY particular type of music...you will hate it. Those who like it would wonder why others like listening to Marilyn Manson. It's an entertainment aimed at those who like it...it doesn't exist to please the aural palate of people who enjoy concerts by The Disturbed...who rock.

You've answered your own question.

All of them imitate a popular band or sound, a la Creed ripping off Pearl Jam, and then act all innocent when confronted about it.

Yuck.

because MAYBE we want to listen about God and praise and worship him and sing about how much greater our lives are now that we know God rather than listen to music about cheating on your girlfriend, or how your girlfriend drives you crazy, or how you caught your girlfriend cheating on you.. or how you life sucks so bad that you want to kill your self...... hmm yea I know what I would rather listen to...

Did that answer your question??
