Is it okay to walk my dog right now with all the fires going on in SoCal. I live in LA.

A good rule of thumb would be, if it's safe for you it's safe for your pet.
If people are being advised to stay indoors then the pets should be kept in as well, except for brief outings for necessary business.
Keep in mind his nose is FAR better than yours and some dogs freak (rightly) at the smell of smoke. Be sure and use a sturdy leash and harness, this is NO time for him to take off out of fear.

I'm assuming you are referring to the air quality in LA right now. Health officials are recommending we curtail outdoor activities if possible, but obviously your dog has to be walked. So I'd recommend unless you see smoke or ash where you live, you're probably ok.

Isn't it soooo gross out? Ugh. Today was especially nasty.

Myself and all my neighbors are taking our dogs on much shorter walks until it clears up.

I feel it in my eyes and my mouth and I'm headache-y, too. If I feel it, I know the old boy feels it. Best to take it easy and just do a little for now.

If the air is not filled with smoke, I would say it would be fine, as long as you stay away from the fires and smoke.

I wouldn't. With all that smoke in the air, it is hard on the lungs. My good friend, Ophelia Cox, lives there and she says it is just awful. I'd stay indoors as much as possible.

It should be ok to go for small walks around the block. Stay away from the fires.

Bless you all.

I'll tell you what my cousin, Vye Brator, who lives there told me. Stay inside and amuse yourself. The less you are exposed to the smoke the better.

I wouldn't for any length of time. Smoke contains toxics.

How's the air near you? If it is full of smoke and ash than I would say no. If it is not than yes.
