Why do some people have to be so rude when answering your questions on Y!A?
I've been a member here for about 14 days, and in 2 weeks, I've had two people have a dig at my name?
What the hell is wrong with some people?
And, more importantly, what the hell is wrong with the name 'Ingrid'???

Wow. People are rude, but let it get to you. It is a very formal name. And it is very rare. The only other time I heard it was in a video game. What they don't know is that it means "Beauty of God."

Hi Ingrid. I think your name is beautiful & different. I like it. People are rude on YA because they can get away with it. They can't be seen by anyone & are hidden from the public. So they can get away with it. They wouldn't talk to their coworkers or family like that because they would be too afraid. People are ignorant. There are alot of nice people on YA. Just ignore the a****.

Some people are really rude. I was shocked at first, but I think Ingrid is a beautiful name, so please try to over look some of the people on here.

Some people are rude because they feel looked down on, so they get nasty to other people making themselves feel better.
Some people are nasty just because they are - the are unhappy and we all know misery loves company.
Some people are nasty because they CAN, and it usually gets a REACTION, like YOU coming in a writing up a question about them. THIS is just exactly what those nasty people REALLY ENJOY!! I am serious!!
It might be a good idea to take things with a grain of salt and not get too emotional about stuff - it really is not worth it.

Think yourself lucky, having only been here a couple of weeks you didn't have toput up with Chester M, Skinhead Charlie and the like for months on end

Nothing is wrong with your name; when someone does that again, feel free to report them. No one should be harrassed for any reason here, even though it is a public site, people need to be civilized.

get used to it, sorry to say
it gets worst with time
and stay away from the political section, as they are demonic
people get pretty bold when they are behind a computer, but i am working on hacking their ID and plan on paying surprise visits ;)'

and they are childish as i just received hate e-mail, yep and they came here to give me a thumbs down.
