I have 2 Rockford P2's (12's), a kenwood amp, and a capacitor but my lights still dim. I am considering an upgrade but i want my car to be able to handle it. What can i do?

Big 3 upgrade and/or alternator upgrade.

Check out www.the12volt.com for more information on the big 3 upgrade.

Edit: What Jason D and altima didn't read is that he is thinking of upgrading his system. If he is looking to add more power to his system then a big 3 and/or high output alternator upgrade would be a good idea.

if memory serves me correctly, then those are only 200 RMS...right?? I would just replace my battery first. This actually happened to me, i had a dead cell in my battery. when i replaced it everything was fine. as far as the big 3 upgrade...very unnecessary for just 400 RMS, unless you have a small car...you may want to check in to an alternator if that's the case.

you can try getting a better battery and if thats not it your gonna have to upgrade your alternator or maybe get a better cap. your cap is supposed to be 1 farad for every 1000 watts of power

well your subs together run around 800 watts so i really cant see why you will have this problem try getting a deep cicly battery first before you try anything else like a optima red or yellow top will be good for you good luck
