The recipe is for a 9" springform pan so I'm not sure how to adjust the cooking time.

I'm not sure you really mean a premade 6" rather than premade 9" crust. If 9" crust but like a pie shell instead of the springform shape, I'd check the cheesecake 15 minutes earlier than the recipe said. If truly a 6" pie shape, I haven't seen those for a Long time, but I'd probably check it after half the designated time. If it's a 6", you'll only use about 1/2 the filling the recipe called for. If it's a 9" pie crust, you'll probably be able to fit all or almost all of the filling into the crust.

Hope this info helps you some.

The problem with cheese cake is, if you cook it too high the cheese may crack ( separate.) I woould cook it at a lower temo like 300 or even 250. It will take longer but you won't get a burn't top. Good Luck
