I can go to the first C above the staff, and some of my audition music goes up to an E and I can't get it out, any advice?

(and i already use a 3 1/2 reed fyi)

It sounds like an ombasure problem (mouth). Keep the corners of your mouth tight, and chin flat. To practice getting it out, slur the chromatic scale from the lowest note up to the E and see if you can get it out from that. With practice, it should be coming out soon.

Well............. lets see i also have the clarinet! Do you have a music teacher to to help you. make sure that there all in the right spot, and if the reed is too big the music won't play right and make sure play one note at a time to see whats the problem or which niter is the problem!

to go up there your instrument has to be perfectly adjusted, if it's even slightly off, you won't get above that C.

look at that fingering chart - all of the fingerings aren't the same as on the soprano no matter what any tells you.
