Take the puppy and dispose of it, preferably bury it. A mother won't eat the puppy but she will eat the afterbirth that comes out with the puppy. She will also chew the umbilical cord off. Now I have seen where a mother chewed to close and hurt the puppy but it wasn't because she tried to eat it.
This is probably what your friend was talking about.

your friends did just fine.you can burya dead puppy or throw it away. Putting a dead puppyinthe garbage sounds horrible but really its not. The poor thing is gone and theres nothing you can do but get rid of it. A dog will mourn a dead puppy so letting it see the dead puppy and even lick it to know its dead first will stop it from looking for it later. If you remove it without the mom knowngit was dead she might think its only lost. But no, it wont eat it.

There are many choices when it comes to deceased animals. Their are pet cemetaries where you can have a burial, or you can (like many people do) have them cremated and again, bury them, or keep the contents, whichever. Also, many people bury their pets in their back yard, which I think is frowned upon, but I don't think is illegal. As for letting the mother eat them? No. If the pups are sick or dying/ dead. The mother will usually just push them away.

you would remove the pups from the rest of the litter. The you would deal with the pups , you can have then bury them , get cremated at the pet crematorium,or take them to the vets. I certainly would not put them in the bin or flush them done the toilet , that is a very cold way of dealing with such a tragedy.

Depending on your circumstances, (city dweller, or maybe the dead of winter) you might not be able to bury it properly, so I would recommend asking your vet to dispose of it, most vets will do this for a fee. Putting it in the garbage, well, that seems a little uncaring to me, but thats just my personal opinion.

Most humane societies will have access to crematoriums. I suppose burying them is appropriate but not dumping them in the trash. I'm pretty sure that's illegal. I had my dog until she was 15 & 1/2. I had her cremated and she stays in a box in my room.

I don't know what binis is?? But you shouldn't leave dead puppies with mom. Not only will she likely eat them, but you don't want to leave dead puppies around puppies that are alive, you risk making them sick.

it depends on how u feel. if u were really close w the dog u could do a major "funeral" in your back yard or something. if my dog died, i would bury her in my back yard because i hav had her forever and shes a sweetie. if u just want to bury her and move on that doesnt make you a bad person.
