If Bush truly believes then he won't hesitate to start a war with Iran. Because "God"is in control .

ther will be a nuclear war - several in fact: india against pakistan: korea against Japan/US and Iran v. US. Also, eventually the big one: china v the rest. not everyone will die and no, poor old jesus will not come back. ever. that is a charming wish fulfilment put about by christians who lvoe to displace responsibility onto someone else for everything and are inherently apocalypic in their thinking. He was supposed to rise after 3 days and if he had done so it would have been the greatest public relations coup ever. obviously he did not and hence all the hush hush and confusion around easter monday. etc etc

If there was a nuclear war bad enough to kill us all I guess the poor guy wouldn't find a horse (or a donkey) to put back in the stable (that would probably be gone as well........Jeez!)

If there is a nuclear war and we are all killed off I dont think we would be worried whether he came back or not and, the horse would be as dead as we are so it wouldnt matter if it was in the stable or not!!!

It's not going to happen - no country will be prepared to press the nuclear button. If it did ever happen horses and stables would be totally unimportant, and Jesus would just go away for another 2000 years until he thought we were worthy of the next coming.

Firstly all religion is based on faith,FAITH is a question of not questioning anything. We go to the doctors and FAITH says they are smarter and in most cases are smarter and can help with a health issue. That's why we vote hopefully we are putting FAITH in the people in power they are smart enough not to be stupid. If we are all wrong then there will be no turning back, earth will not recover.

Some have interpretted some of the apocolyptic texts to involve just that, so it may well not be putting the horse back in the stable.

What if questions come in all forms but mean nothing. The Bible is clear that God's purpose for the earth was a paradise for humans, and that his promises never return to him without being fulfilled. The earth will be here until time indefinite, despite human's efforts to destroy it whether it be by war or by pollution.

In Judaism, they believe the Messiah comes back after a BIG, BIG catastrophe. I think the planet being killed is a catastrophe.

That would be impossible. I would withstand a nuclear war,
but just to humor you .. then I would say the nuclear war was the way Jesus came back. We would all end up at the throne . . . well, those of us to be judged anyway.

That's the more likely scenario of any I've heard involving Jesus
