Of course ... you are Taxed from the day you are born and (in the UK at least) until the day AFTER you DIE ...

Everyone has a 'Personal Allowance' (amount of income you can receive before it's taxed) and most people still in full time education do not receive enough to take them into the first Tax band .. however if you have any sort of Savings Account, chances are, you are already paying Tax..

In the UK, yes. Everyone who earns from a job is "subject to income tax". If you earn less than your personal allowance which is about £5000 you won't owe tax on it. But if your company runs a PAYE scheme they may take the tax off you anyway, and you'll have to ask for a rebate at the end of the year.

Generally, yes, but it may depend on the specific tax and the state or country. Any general tax, such as income, sales, inheritance, capital gains, property (real or personal), etc., do not exempt anyone due to age.

yes, although you have a tax free personal allowance each year.

currently this allowance is £5225 until 5th April 2008 and it may go up from 6th April 2008 to 5th April 2009.

6th april to following 5th april is called a tax year.

so if you earn less than approx £100 (£5225 ;/ 52) a week you wont pay any tax or NI.
