I'll finding out soon.

They told me corrected 20/20 vision will work.

It has nothing to deal with medication.

I have poor eye sight when uncorrected.

Again, they said, if I wear corrected lenses, I could take the class.

Reasonably average health is good enough. If you're not seeing a doctor for anything serious, it'll not be a problem. Even if you are on some meds, you might have to jump through a few more hoops, but the physical isn't like some NASA astronaut type of thing.

The flying gets easier once you settle down and get used to it. It's work, but a fun kind of work.

My first lesson was in a 40 year old Cessna 150, tail number N5400Q, a number I'll never forget. It is a two seat airplane. My instructor told me to relax and enjoy the scenery, next time we were flying I'd be too busy to do so. He made sure we had a smooth flight (no barrel rolls). Most people training today do so in slightly larger aircraft. Cirrus has overtaken Cessna as the largest producer of aircraft; all their plane are equipped with an airframe parachute, which can give you peace of mind on your first flight. As a pilot who has flown mostly Cessna and Piper aircraft, I find the controls slightly cumbersome; it is flown with one hand via a stick that comes out of the panel...it's hard to describe, check out the Cirrus website. Good luck, you're sure to enjoy this experience.

Take a joy flight lesson - gives you an intro at the lowest expense and you don't have to be healthy.

There are different type of lessons e.g
Aerodynamics
Aeroengines
Meterology
Navigation
Air Regulations
Aviation Terminiologies etc etc.
and for health standards, you should not be having any desease like blood preesure, sugar, hyper tension, week eyesight, heart problem etc etc. in short have to be in perfect health
