An American who supports the United States, & looks out for it's interests. I'm a patriotic American, because I'm going to enlist in the active Army soon.

An American who doesn't hate his country quite enough to work actively towards it's destruction could pass for a patriot these days....

A few posters got it right.....to me I'd add to support US interests which benefit the GOOD of OUR Nation. Having humility toward ppl in the US or elsewhere who have less than us.

Being a law-abiding, tax paying, civilly active US Citizen.
