The best product over the counter would be Pedialyte. It comes in several flavors although I don't find many of them to taste great. It's given to children to help rehydrate them after being sick. It's pretty potent and works very well.
You'll find it at Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Longs, etc. Look in the baby/infant section or the over-the-counter medicine isle. I believe there is a teddy-bear picture on the bottle.

Any fluid will work, but water is the best. Some drinks have more hydrating ability than others. Drinks with caffeine or alcohol make you urinate, so the gain from them may be minimum, and in some cases you may even lose water. Gatorade is very good, especially when exerting yourself, but I'm not sure it is better than water for baseline hydration. As with anything, use some common sense. If your plan is to drink a whole bunch of water (or whatever) the day before the test, you cna actually make yourself sick, by throwing off your electrolytes.

Honestly, any fluids for the most part will help you pass a hydration test if you drink enough of them. But to be truly hydrated to the max, match each 20 ounces of water that you drink with 20 ounces of any kind of sports drink (Gatorade, Powerade, etc). Especially since you're a wrestler (and probably cutting weight?), your body needs the electrolytes in sports drinks for your body to recover from workouts.

when I work out I use 100% fruit juice, mixed with water to be ~ 35-45 calories per 8 ounces, and a tiny bit of salt per half gallon mixed.
At least during my aerobic workouts (all I do these days), this will be absorbed much more efficiently then water alone, and lead to better hydration and less urination.
How much less? Water only on a 2 hour bike ride, and I am stopping to pee 3 times at least on ~ 1.5 quarts of water. But make that juice as above, and I won't pee at all until I am done.
Just make sure it is 100% fruit juice, no sugar of any kind added. Check the calories per 8 oz on the label to know how much to mix with water - it varies by fruit a lot amazingly enough!
Good thing about this is you can get flavors you like, and as much variety as you want!

The best liquid is water or an oral rehydration solution. If this is not available, a sports drink like Gatorade is good. Alcohol and drinks with caffeine or milk products should be avoided. Alcohol and caffeine act like diuretics. They make a person urinate more often, which gets rid of fluids.

Gatorade has the best fluids to hydrate you, because it includes electrolytes that help your body keep itself hydrated and support your energy levels. Also, it gives you that "zip" of flavor if water is too plain for you. Hope I helped :)

Almost any liquid, although some, like coffee, tea, and sodas can have a slight diuretic effect. But I don't think it would actually affect the test.
