baptism does not save- baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation.
And if you are asking if Jesus is the only way to heaven- the answer is yes. Jesus is THE way, THE truth and THE life. Not a way, a truth and a life.

God says that everyone in the world, even pagans, have received Light from God; it comes down to what they have done with that Light. God will not judge them by what they don't know; but they did have some Light. When anyone earnestly seeks the Lord, God will send them someone to show the way. That's why the early missionaries came to introduce the Native Americans to Christ. Those who accepted the message were saved; those who rejected it, were not. I guarantee that by the end of time, just before Christ returns, everyone in the world, no matter what religion they belong to now, will make a decision for or against God. There will only then be two "religions" in the world. Those who follow God, and those who follow the Beast.

Read the following verses in Romans and I think it will clear it up for you. The verse say it is not he who hears the law that is justified but he who does the law. Thus when a person has never heard of God or His word and yet follow it because God has written His word into our very souls then they will be judged by that. Basically did they love those around them, treat them fairly. Were they a Christian without even knowing what a Christian is.
Romans 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

Brandy, if the words of the bible are right, then I'm going to hell in a handbasket. I'm a drunk single mother who has no idea what she's doing in life. I hate myself, and the only thing good that's ever happened to me is my daughter. I reject Jesus, for the simple fact that I have no choice but to follow Him if I want to go to heaven. I reject things that give me no choice. You don't have to acknowledge what I say, I'm just stating how I feel. I'm going to hell, and when I get there, there's going to be a bunch of hawt guys who think I'm hawt. Other than that, I don't see what the big issue with hell is. I think it's a nice toasty place where you can go to keep warm. Heaven is supposedly up in space. Wouldn't it be cold up there? forgive me, I'm just rambling at this point in time.

Anyone not born again will not enter the kingdom of heaven. If a native American has been born again, they will go to heaven. If they worship the creation, instead of the Creator, they will not go to heaven. It has nothing to do with what we have done or do. It is what Jesus has done for us. He died for us, so that we may be forgiven of our sins. If we accept Him as our Lord and Savior, our sins are washed away in His blood, and we are saved. If not, then we are not saved.

i think God is going to judge and he knows the heart of each person. He'll be fair. I would not want to risk that chance though. It seems like the best thing to do is to pray and get to know God. I believe many religions that believe in God / accept Jesus will be in heaven. Every religion thinks their understanding is best . you have to pray to God and you will be led to a good church.
the largest church in USA is Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, IL this is a non denominational church .

Only God can judge - but Jesus said that "no one comes to the Father except through Me." He said that, we did not. Why would he say that - because it is true and we need to know and acknowledge it. We may not want to - but we do not author the truth, and loving and wise God does. There can only be one truth.
The truth also is that God HAS given us a way to him - through faith in Jesus Christ to be forgiven. We have the promise of eternal life and an abundant life now through him.

Jesus told us the path to heaven is narrow, so the idea that every religion leads to heaven doesn't resonate with us. God will decide about people who didn't know about the way he made for us but truly sought him.

Even the Christian Bible teaches baptism is not mandatory for access to Heaven. Look at the thief on the cross whom Jesus told would be with him in Paradise today...was he baptised?
