The best thing is to say thank you. If you feel the same way about him then tell him. That will keep his confidence with you. If you don't feel the same way, say thank you and say I hope it stays that way, in the sweetest voice you can. (kinda almost sucking up)

That sounds more like a common line than an individual perception of someone to me as I've heard it BEFORE myself.

When a guy starts telling me things "he thinks" I want to hear, I feel myself loosing interest and the guy.

Ok let me ask you this. How old is your mother? What school did she go to? What were her grades? Whats her favorite shade of green? Whats her birthstone. Has she ever been in trouble for anything?? Has she ever been in a fight?? ever maybe hit someone??? How do you know?? Because she told you?? You could only know if someone told you. And even then did it seem like her charactor for all of it?? ANy one can surprise us. And thats YOUR MOTHER!

Now how well do you know this boy??? And how is this??? Becasue he told you? You've known him 2-6 months. You've known your mother your whole life. Think about that for a minute. Then do me a favor. Don't be so fast to believe what you hear, Especially if you've only known them a few short months...........

Tell him thank you for the kind words. He's right you are different, and you hope to make all your around happy as opposed to not. Maybe he can at least offer you some "details" on why he says this, so it doesn't sound so common and you can get to know HIM better. His repsonses tell you things. Try asking more questions in response so you can get to know about him. Given its not on the net.

Listen, I presume your young. I am not here to bust your good mood or feeling for this boy. Its a good feeling to have someone, and for them to like you too. I believe you're talking about an online relationship. If that's the case, say thank you, but do not let this lead you into having an online boyfriend. Those relationships don't work out, they just take longer to go bad because you're far away.
