Why don't you follow the Eightfold Path instead of risking a lower reincarnation?
Yeah, it's kind of like that.

WOW this is such an original question...
OK I am not even ATHEIST but I can tell you what most will say. That they refuse to pretend to believe in something. And that most likely even if your right and there is a God that wouldn't he respect more those who did not fake belief then those who did? And if he didn't than that's probably not somewhere they want to be anyways.
Now from the christian side as I have read. You are not saved until you ACCEPT Jesus into your heart. Just going to church and "following the code" but pretending to believe in Jesus and God is not going to get you saved.
Now from my point of view as a pagan. Your God may be real but so may Mine. You make it seem like you either believe in the Christian God or you believe in No God but there are many more options. Just because your God is what you feel is right does not mean that it is what is right for everyone else.
The way I see it Religion is not a Black and White, Clear cut topic. There really is no wrong and right. Most religions tend to focus on what happens to you after death. Even Atheists have opinions on what happens after death. We will never know until we get there. And with so many options it seems more logical to fall back to one of two. Either ALL the options are correct. or None of them are correct.

I believe in God, but honestly, all of those "christians" that scream, yell, and even hurt people because they are 'sinning' is so stupid. Sitting in a garage for 10 years doesn't make you a car, and it's the same way for being a true Christian.
God's rules are for 'the best,' but what about being yourself? Take homosexuals for instance: they might be the most wonderful person on Earth, but if he/she loves the same sex, then they're 'condemned.' I think it's those Christians that condemn gays and people like them more than God does.

Which one should we believe in again? You can follow a set of moral codes without god or religions as well...funny, isn't it?

why beleive in god? you blindly follow rules set for you. you waste at least one day of the week going to a church or mosque. why live in fear of what will happen after you die, so that you forget to live in the moment and acept what life has to offer here and now? it's okay that you beleive in god, but that's just not what's right for me.

Ok, first of all, forcing myself to believe in something that makes no sense to me is not that easy. I've tried. Second of all you can follow of code of ethics without believing in God. And lastly, what if you believe in the wrong god? Will you go to hell????? Cause some religions think so. You could be like that guy in the Mummy, who just prays to all of them, to make sure his bases are covered.

"You spent your life believing and your going to be dead anyways. But if there is a God, like I believe, then youre saved for eternity."
Pascals wager. Been disputed already. Look it up.

Good question. Even if there wasn't a God (which there is) you spent your whole life being a good person, is that a bad thing? And there are plenty of facts to prove there is.

If there is an all-powerful, all-knowing god, do you really think he'd care if you spent an hour in a building once a week, and only believed in him for the promise of a great reward?
If you do, then you believe in the most petty god of all, my friend.
