well there are several ways.... without taking medicine, things like sunlight, and exercise are found to increase serotonin levels in the body. otherwise, SSRI's (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) and MAOI's (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) are pills you can take to increase serotonin uptake in the brain. some SSRIs are: prozac, wellbutrin, zoloft, and effexor. there are many others.
a psychiatrist or other doctor can prescribe these medications for people who do not naturally make enough serotonin. however, be careful because they do have side effects :-) good luck.

However much serotonin we have, there is a limit to how good we can feel. Pasta, bananas, rice, porridge, oily fish, toast, milky drinks, are all good for feeling the effects of serotonin. They can lead to feelings of contentment.

Serotonin is a hormone that is directly related to the feeling of happiness and contentment. In the early years man had to hunt for food to survive. Their main concern was keeping their belly full. There are two brains in our body which are connected to each other: our stomach's brain and our thinking brain. The one can't function without the other. In order to feed the 'brains' with the necessary fuel you need to bear in mind what you actually put in your mouth - for your stomach's brain- and what thought processes you apply in different situations in your life-your thinking brain. So, to conclude take better care of your diet ie. follow a more balanced one (you can visit a dietician who will follow you more closely) and as for your thinking brain take up some form of mild exercise to get those endorphins going and of course keep yourself happy by avoiding stressful situations like hell on high water. How? Put yourself first and put your happiness first. YOU are responsible for your own happiness.

Masturbation became into the only way i could desire to attain orgasm, and it became right into a marginally vulnerable (i did not are conscious of it on the time) yet nevertheless relaxing adventure. Foreskin fix introduced back numerous lacking sensitivity and hence my orgasms are lots extra severe than I ever concept they could be. that's extra of a complete physique adventure now, and virtually unbearably severe. I by no skill thought that intercourse could desire to sense so stable, that's totally diverse and lots extra pleasing with a foreskin. No ask your self men are born with them, and that's a disgrace that many men will by no skill have an entire sexual adventure because of the harmful consequences of circumcision.

this is a tough question...some people would say St John's Wart or 5-HTP which are herbal remedies, but the studies are so up and down. But I do know that it is a fact that exercise helps our mental health. Try to run or get on a treadmill for 20-30 minutes a day or every other day. Try the link i listed...it has some good info on raising serotonin.

apparently eating carbohydrates, though this produces a sugar drop and can lead to low mood 30 mins later so not the best idea.
Also, excercise, walking as oppose to getting a bus, going to the gym as oppose to lounging with the tv and doing classes insted of drinking out the bar/pub/whatever!
Exercise helps seratonine levels.

Besides 5-htp and Tryptophan, believe it or not, your own thoughts can help you feel it.. I call it wonderfulizing...It's the opposite of catastrophizing.. Think only about positive things..It takes some practice, but it works..
