Actually making up my own dreams is how I sleep reguraly, I usually think of something I really am into at the present time. An actor you've just noticed is dashing, or a certain career you would like and make it up, once you are deep in sleep you're dream changes. Reason so is that the images you see throughout the day is stored in your memory lane towards the back at night when relaxed it's come up. And the types of of dreams you expierence are also determined by gender, If you know or not, women have 11% more neurons in the stress and emotion area, triggers great anxiety. Men also have anxiety problems during sleep but it's more prone to females.

Ever notice when you sleep you are dreaming peacefully then out of nowhere you take a nasty fall and you have the same feeling and actually jump slightly, all part of the idiotic neurons :/

Remember dreaming is a great time to get away from reality.

If you are already in the sleep state of dreaming, you can control in your dream eating an apple or even dreaming about eating an apple (You're dreaming you're dreaming). Can you trigger a dream...idk about that. I've triggered dreams by watching certain traumatic stuff happen, but I think we've all done that.

Yes. But it is extremely difficult and takes time. The trick is to use self hypnosis, if you are having a nightmare that recurs and you want to change it, then every time that you wake up from the nightmare use your imagination to go back into the dream immediately, then use your conscious mind to change the outcome. At this point you have to be in a semi hypnotic state though so that your subconscious that controls your dreams can be accessed. Your dreams are generally caused by what your mind is focused on, if you are completely obsessed with something all day you will dream about it. If you are able to change what you are thinking about all day you might also be able to change your dream

I have tried to control what I dream but I can't do it. Maybe if you really wanted to dream about an apple you would think about it all day and then you probably would. But I don't think anyone is that desperate to control what they dream.

I usually dream about what's on my mind the moment before I got to sleep. For example, I would like to dream about my chiledhood and therefore, I think about it till I go to sleep. Next thing I know, I'm 7 years old again, riding my favorit bike!

with dreams being based on the subconscious it is possible to control them. Not fully, but guide them. However once you hit REM, the dream may begin as intended, but thoughts will overide your assumed authority

My brother claims he did it. Ive never been able to do it but he says hes done it about three times now, where he can control everything that is happening. Hes an artist so maybe its just that he has a massive immagination.
