I am not a mormon but the following are Joseph Smith's words as found in the pearl of great price. He states that all denominations are wrong and an abomination in God's sight. Now I am sure some mormons are going to come in here and say we are all Christians but that sure isn't what Old Joe taught or believed.

"18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”

We don't believe that all other churches are an abomination- all religions have good in them. We just believe that we have a more complete gospel. As far as them being more christian or the same- i think the term "christian" is just a notation that someone believes in and follows Jesus Christ and His teachings. So anyone that believed this would fall under that category, of course all denominations believe different things under the rule of christianity- and that is where our sub categories of denominations come from, but we are all under the umbrella of "christianity" However, that being said- I'm not conscerned with a label- true christianity is between your Savior and you. No one else out there knows your heart and struggles. Therefore no one else can judge or determine anything. And as a christian, i strive to live by His teachings, and one is that we are not to pass judgement- and that we are to love everyone regardless.

I can't remember where this quote came from but the thought "they who are not against us are with us" comes to mind. That is to say, all Christians should be working to prepare the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. They should all have a testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of the world. I feel totally comfortable listening to Christian music of any denomination, although, of course, some is more professional than other music. I often like to think of how a lot of what is on Christian TV right could be used clear into the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ, no matter what denomination it is now. Thanks for asking, and I send you a gummy bear. Or two.

To me, the definition of a "Christian" is anyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ and has atoned for the sins of the world.
Therefore, to me, anyone who holds that belief is a Christian. It does not matter, in my opinion, of those beliefs about Christ are exactly the same. If they believe Christ, they are Christian.

Many of the Christian denomination all have differing beliefs. Even those that belief in the Nicene council's interpretation of what the trinity is.

All are Christian in my opinion.

I consider them Christians in that they believe in Jesus Christ BUT
They tend to believe some weird stories about Jesus Christ that Mormons just don't agree with.

Mormons = Jesus has a Body and is the Physical Son of God

Others = Jesus is his own father and has no body and he is everywhere and no where without substance or form.

Clearly you can see that the Mormons have an edge on the competition.

Yes. Christians follow the teachings of Jesus Christ - there are many factions of christianity located all over. I think anyone who follows Christ is christian - levels of intent are personalized and not included in denomination. Each follows to the extent of their understanding.

Anyone who follows Christ, believing that he is the Son of God and the author of eternal salvation, is a Christian in my book. However, I also believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true church restored upon the Earth, and is guided by revelation from Heaven. My feelings about other forms of Christianity is that they have some truth, but they also teach erroneous doctrines and lack the authority from God to baptize. I believe most of them also feel the same way about us.

A Christian is someone who believes that Christ is the divine Savior of the world, He through whom sins are forgiven. As best I can tell, "non-Mormon" Christians believe this with the same conviction we Mormon Christians believe it, so I'd say they are just as Christian as we are.

Of course Edge is correct, even when you put Smith's own words in front of them (pono) they still say no and deny the founder of their religion. Others say I feel they maybe Christians BUT, when I go to their church and say hey I'm Christian because you said I am can I just go ahead and just join your mormon church go ahead try it won't happen will it mormons. come on be honest please. (duck, punk, phrog, pablo) please?
Now If you ask me who is a Christian if mormons are christian I will say point blank no.
Why can't you people just be honest?
Read and get wise stop living the lies. Or are you afraid of the truth?

Pondering relative degrees of Christianity sounds dangerously judgmental to me.
