So you (gasp) LIED to the salesman???
I bet if you would have told him you were actually actively 'in the market' and were comparing to determine which one you should purchase, you may have gotten a little better attention. Then you would have gotten a better truck and SUV (Nissans aren't a BAD choice though, but IMHO Toyotas are better).

Give the guy a break, he might of had a long day of nothing but tire kickers. I've been there, done that. When you don't get paid to spend time with people who aren't really in the market, you tend to pre-qualify who is and who isn't a buyer less carefully.

Congrats on your new rigs

Well since you said you were just comparing what did you want him to do? Give you the keys and say, have it back in an hour? C'mon, they guy isn't there to waste all of his time on people who aren't even remotely likely to purchase, which by the way you described yourself you weren't.
Also, Toyota has a reputation, and most of the people that buy them go to the dealership already 100% sure they are going to buy a Toyota. That is how good their quality is. If you did a little research you may have discovered that although Nissan trucks and SUV's are some of the best coming from Japan, that you probably would have been more satisfied years down the road if you purchased a Tacoma and a 4Runner instead.
Oh well.

Usually when you walk into a dealership-even when you say you are just looking, or you are comparing- they will give you a card anyway in expectancy that you'll be back.

hahahaha I don't care who you are that's funnah right there.

So you're saying Toyota sales technique needs some work? I couldn't agree more!

Tacos are nice. The Nissans aren't bad though.
