How many of you think Christians are just religious fanatics? well, think again....you couldn't be farther from the truth...

Born again Christians don't live by relegion. Infact, we don't aspire to be religious we pray constantly that we don't become religious. What we have is a meaningful everlasting relationship with the true and living God of Heaven and Earth. We don't need to express our love to God with rituals or outward practices or routines. We express our love to God in spirit and in truth. We express our love from the inside out not the other way around. ok...peace and God bless..

I agree with you one hundred percent, and it's nice to see it expressed so well. Christianity has been so misrepresented by people that have no understanding of what Jesus taught.

The media and secular thinking makes it sound like "spiritual" and "Christian" are opposite, when spiritual is exactly what true Christianity is all about.

Your question was "why don't people get this?" Well, there has been a steady, relentless stream of anti-Christianity rhetoric constantly being streamed through media, popular culture and our educational institutions, and people believe it.

I honestly think very few people really have any understanding of what Christians really believe. This is sad. God bless you, too.

Thanks for posting this. : )

Amen, Tx Guy! That is so true! We don't force ourselves upon the unbelievers, we just live Christianity as a lifestyle everyday, not just Sundays. We share the Word of God to those that welcome it, and still demonstrate ourselves in a loving manner to those that reject His word. We don't adhere to any routine "religion," but daily spiritual growth. Thank you for this, it describes us exactly! We aren't vulgar, bashing, ranters "you're going to hell," picketers outside abortion clinics! Many, many blessings to you, friend!

The only reason christians r like that today because they just call themselves christians they dont have the everlasting relationship with god, they havent felt his love and care and mercy! they didnt realy let Him in his heart! and we cant do anything about it, we can only pray for them! Its the end of the world and the bible says that alot of people will loose their faith!!!!

this isn't really a question, is it. I think SOME christians are religious fanatics just as are SOME Muslims, SOME Jews, SOME Pagans and so on. I don't think you can generalise any one religious group.

I wish that were true. How else do you explain where religion is interfering with the state today? The separation of Church and State is constantly being interfered with.

Okay, you can put it like that, but you guys are still trying to legislate your beliefs in our government, whether you are "technically" religious or not. That's why we call you 'fanatics.' You take your beliefs so seriously, that you're willing to force it onto other people, because you think you're benefiting them.

If you kept to yourself a little more, then picking on you and calling you names wouldn't be justified at all. We'd all leave you alone.

Something like that can't be understood without experiencing it first. I just don't understand why non-believers are so afraid to try it. What do they think they have to lose?
