Whats the difference between a gun magizine and cartrige?

The "cartridge" refers to an individual/single bullet,comprised of a casing, powder,primer and a bullet..The magazine is the object where the bullets are stored, and loaded into a gun.(The magazine is a spring loaded "tube" that holds several "cartridges") YES..They BOTH fit into a gun
