Why do they ask science questions in the religion section, and then gloat about the atheists who can't answer the question?

Because to them, anyone with a education past elementary school is a scientist.

Or possibly they do not want an answer. They ask their question 'knowing' the answer already (an answer usually totally unrelated to reality) and can then handwave away all the responses and settle back in the warm fuzzy security of their delusions.

Face it, if they really wanted to know they would be asking in the biology/chemistry/astronomy sections, not in R&S

Because like evolution creation is a theory. All the questions haven't been satisfactorily addressed, however there is much, much stronger evidence that there's a PROCESS involved in growing things. The PROCESS is evolution...given the FACT there's more evidence undermines the creationist view so they challenge with questions yet to be answered. PEACE!

Maybe they see atheists as their opposition just like they see the devil as the opposition of their faith. But look, it's not as though we're talking about rational or even civilized people. Trying to determine the reasons behind the actions of madmen is a complete waste of time.

Because all Creationists have the "proof" they need while atheists are stuck with saying things like "I don't know" or "They have theories"

They don't want answers, they want to feel as intellectually superior as they feel morally superior.

They know that atheists like facts and proof, unlike themselves, who apparently only like abstract and convoluted statements based on myth and legend.

Can't say I've seen much of this going on.

Perhaps those who don't know the answers should leave it to those who do.
