RockinRobin-Jesus was persecuted and died for you. Many Christians would give up their fingers if that could save your soul. Only Jesus can save your soul, however if it points you to Jesus we would give up the ability to point with our finger for you! That's how much God loves you!

Sweetgur I was abused as a toddler, found in a ditch. I've been molested. I tell you God is compassionate. We will be rewarded through His Son, Jesus Christ.

God didn't kill the children, it was a man of God. He had powers God gave him. Maybe there is someone out there that explain this better then me. I personally think he used God's power the wrong way.

If god did exist, then he has no compassion. If he did, then little children would not be sexually, mentally or physically abused. People would not be starving, or homeless. I don't see the compassion there.

Why do non-atheists resits God's commandments? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Love they neighbor. Do not judge. Forgive, Have compassion, etc. etc. It amazes me how one can take a part of an very, very old written word and turn against some ethnic person., other religion, or even non-religious person. Just keep looking at the parts of the bible that teaches you how to love and understand (which are the words of Jesus) and you won't be able to quote judge mental quotes, that do not actually mean what they say.
Once again, you must be a very unhappy soul, always looking for someone to disagree with. Try the other way and you will honestly feel happier. I love the saying - Let go and let God, that means you, my friend, should have nothing to worry about IF you trust God.

it may desire to be the two, or the two. it may even be the shortcoming to have self belief. to illustrate, there is lots written concerning the misplaced city of Atlanta. inspite of this, few have self belief that it exists. In Christianity, it incredibly is an identical, there are only extra believers. It would not make it from now on or much less suggestions-blowing/authentic. human beings will continuously doubt. It takes power to have self belief in a faith inspite of loss of evidence, even though it additionally takes power to speak out and question what you will have grown as much as have self belief in and in no way doubt. so which you will no longer objectively be sure no count number if it incredibly is serious wondering or sheer conceitedness for Atheists to disbelieve in God. so as to be responsive to, you ought to seem at each and each Atheist subjectively and spot their motives for no longer believing.

atheists dont believe god exists which mean "gods" compassion does not exist so they arent resisting anything.
annamarie your so right the reason i dont believe in god is because he is no fun, i mean he constantly tells us we are sinners and thats so not cool so i thought why bother with him...there is more reasoning than that i actually found that a little insulting
i should add on that i dont believe in satan either...your version of truth is different from others god may be truth to you but to atheists its a lie.

Well, since god does not exist, there is no compassion for us (Or anyone else, really) to resist.
Wouldn't it make sense, if god was real, for everyone to accept that? Even if we didn't all necessarily accept the same form of god, why wouldn't we all be designed to accept some form of god?

You'll forgive me if I mistrust "compassion" from a god who sent bears to kill 42 children because they called a man bald.

they don't believe in him at all. So how are they to accept or resist compassion from something that doesn't exist. Now does that make sense to you?
