just looking for something easy to use for car audio needs, i looked at radio shack, they any good? i just think it is time i set everything with a meter, and not trust my ears so much...but its not something i will use everyday, just when i get the urge for new equipment, (every couple 2-3 years)

The ones at Radio $hack are fine. If you want real quality with many features, look to Fluke.

That's not a bad deal. I have this one;

It has no internal resistance, which keeps it nice and accurate.

Radioshack makes pretty nice DMMs.

it is just like car audio low brand or good brand

go with the Fluke there is nothing better or reliable

Sure, Radio shack fine for your needs. I got one there I have had for years, still works great.
