Is this good news?

Hillary, thanks for the list (love your picture).

It's nice to know that even if everyone voted, even the 4 cowards, they still wouldn't have had the votes. Why can't these idiots understand that we DON'T want amnesty in any form? They are suppose to be representing us!

The motion to bring the DREAM Act to the floor of the Senate for debate failed 52-44. It is dead in the water.

Look it here:
Reid(D):
Dream Act Will Give Young Americans (??) Opportunity To Pursue Education, Chance To Succeed.

David Vitter (R):
The DREAM Act would create a path to citizenship for people brought illegally to the United States by their parents as children or before they were the age of 16.

Does it answer your question???

I am looking for now,who voted how.
Will keep you posted.

We don't need mercenaries in our military and certainly not people who have violated the laws of this country by just being here. FYI: If you read the Dream Act, you will find that it extends to those up to 30 years old as long as they entered this country prior to being 16 years of age. I am tired of the "it's for the kids [children] mantra to justify anything. And you can enter college for two years and get the same benefits under the Dream Act as serving in the military. I don't approve of amnesty in any form. This act would have resulted in over 3 million people being granted amnesty.

Yes and No. Yes, because they need to learn that a majority of legal citizens do not want this--and the government needs to learn that NO means NO.

No--it is also not a good thing because we still have millions of illegals and no solution to the problem since they will not take extreme measures of deportation, etc.

To me personally, it is a good thing because I am against amnesty. It didn't work before, it's not going to work in the future. The same thing will repeat its self 20 years from now again. I say deport!

This is great news. Now when will our leaders actually start listening to the legal citizens here over all of these illegals. It's only a matter of time before they try this again. Although I think that the anti illegal website numbersusa.org with all of their faxes, phones calls etc made them change their minds!

I've already faxed the Democrat traitor in Ohio for voting yea. He is going to be put into his political coffin sometime today! I am so thrilled that the majority needed didn't show up to vote! Think they were trying to save their own asses? Don't forget who they are Boxer California, Kennedy from Massachusetts,McCain from Arizona and one senator from Connecticut didn't vote. LOL Finally some headway into Government to realize that we are tired of supporting illegals!!And their self entitled rights. I'm so happy! Thrilled in fact!!!!! I'm going to do the happy dance with your other responder !!!!

I think it was just POLITICS as usual.

They are doing this kind of voting so the american people, especially immigrants can see that the Republican party don't want to fix the problem. This was a big FYOU to the republicans.

Now, ALL OF YOU IMMIGRANTS, you might think that if you vote Democrat in 2008 the bill will pass. WRONG!! is just a game, democrats don't want to pass the bill either.

It just politics people!! Vote for whom ever you want it won't make a difference to this Dream Act Bill.

Anyone that votes for that should be dragged into the street, beaten to death on National News, then have their body hung from a cross in front of the Congress with a "I'm an idiot" sign around their neck.
